What remotes will work with my viper 5000 or 5002 car alarm?
i couldn’t locate the main brain on my car alarm. so just by going off the model number on the broken keyless entry remote that i have, i know that it’s either a viper 5000 or viper 5002 system. the actual viper replacement remotes are like 60 dollars so i was wondering if there were some cheaper remotes that would work with my car alarm system.
Is our world on the threshold of peace or on the brink of disaster?
It seems that a case could be made for either view.
On the one hand, some world leaders speak confidently of global peace as an attainable goal—perhaps because the alternatives are too horrifying to contemplate. On the other hand, many tremble at such questions as these: Which nations have weapons of mass destruction?
Would they dare to use them?
What would happen if they did?
Do you holdout any hope that our world will ever be united? Why?
I would like to install a security camera at the entrance to my driveway.?
The driveway is about 2200 feet from my house and there is a phone jack at the gate which is connected to the house landline [ and my DSL]. Is there a way to use the phone jack to hook up a security camera or ‘webcam’ that I can monitor from my computer?

Can Norton Internet Security record every single thing you say in an instant messenger?
The version is 16.5.0
And I need to know whether the administrator of the PC can read every conversation in an instant messenger via Norton Internet Security?
As I’m just a standard user, I can’t find out for myself…
It’s just my NIS says it can ”examine emails and instant messages then blocks and removes threats”, so I was just wondering whether that meant instant messages could be recorded and read?
What are the ethical and legal implications of an employer who has installed 'spy' cameras?
throughout the business, and then views the activity on his PC?? At this point only a couple of people are aware they have been installed, they were installed after money continued to disappear from some sort of desk lock box. Aside from the fact the employer fails to adequately secure the money, I am wondering what the implications of the situation are.
Is it possible to detect non-wireless video surveillance?
I’ve been reading the "Rain" series of contemporary fiction novels, and Rain (an assassin) has a detector he keeps in his pocket that "detects" some kind of wave length (side-band? or similar I think it was called) that video camera’s produce. The detector also detects audio surveillance. The author never differentiates between wireless and hard-wired devices, this little thing picks up everything within about 10 meters or so if I recall correctly.
I’m just wondering if that is actually possible or if it is literary license. If it is possible, how?
how much would a x box 360 cost with a wireless remote and viva pinata?
The XBOX360 is the original, and is used but in good condition. It comes with a wireless controller, with new batteries and some dumb game called Viva Pinata. How much do you think it should cost? I am planning on buying it for 0, does this seem like a fair deal?
Honeywell Humidifier Water…………..?
I just installed a Honeywell He220 whole house humdifier and is working good but I see that a fair amount of water is draining out the drain tube down into the drain everytime the unit runs. I have the control set at 40%. Am just kinda concerned cause I live in a area with outrageous water/sewer costs every month. Just want some input if this is correct on how these things work?? Thanks!
