Wife lost her garage door opener but I still have mine. Can I buy one at a place like Home Depot and program it easily? Also, this is not for a house garage, it is for a condo complex that has a garage so I probably do not have access to a "unit" or whatever it is called; just my garage door opener.

The keyless remote can still be used if the alarm is disabled and I had figured it out years ago but had to change the car’s battery and everything reset to default. Which means the alarm arms itself whether the car is locked or not, key is in auxillary mode or not. The problem is that it is way too sensitive (goes off when the wind is heavy). I cannot find anything online and the car’s manual has no programming info. Hate to spend $ at the dealership for this.

My smoke detector began chirping at 4:27am today. Don’t they just love doing that? So I’ve done a lot of researching on here, and everyone is saying to replace the batteries on my smoke detector, but I can’t open up the detector itself. What’s more is that it’s hard-wired to the ceiling, except when I removed the smoke detector from the ceiling, it seems as if they were never really connected to begin with, so I don’t know what I should do now.
