My neighborhood association has security cameras around the gated pool area, which members must use access cards to enter. We have a problem with kids jumping the gate to gain access, many times vandalizing the facilities. They’re most likely neighborhood kids but for whatever reason, don’t have an access card. Either way, they shouldn’t be jumping the gate.

I have images of them caught in the act. But we’re not really sure who they are. Would posting their photos on a bulletin board in the facilities be legal? What about posting on the password-protected neighborhood association website? Or sending out in our regular newsletter?

We’re just thinking that getting the info out and getting the neighborhood involved in holding these people responsible is the right thing to do. But does the law work against us here?

I have a home security camera system that allows me to watch the cameras remotely online. However, to do this I have to allow the server to install either an application or java. Does anyone know if this is possible on the iphone 4, or will it cause problems if I try to do it?
