How can I fix a car alarm to get amy car started?

I have a car with an after market car alarm. I do not know the type of alarm, as it was already installed when I got the car. The toggle switch under the dash (kill switch?) has come off leaving two wire ends. The car will not start and only the lights flash as if the alarm is active. How can I fix the problem to get the car started? I tried pig tailing the wire ends together with no luck. I welcome any suggestions.

Our landlord came to do repairs and unbeknown to us installed a surveillance camera in the entrance way of our rental house, she did not ask permission and did not receive it from us. she said it was for our protection.

1998 Ford F150 door sensor won't work?

I shut the door on my truck and the dome, cab and door lights will not go off. I looked for the push button in the door jamb to push it but there isn’t one. I guess it is a magnetic type sensor of some sort…
Any ideas on how to fix this…?
It is as if I haven’t shut the door at all

Can a burglar disable a home's security system by cutting all the wires and power lines outside the house?

If a burglar cut all power source to the house, can the alarm be disable ? And, if he cuts the phone line too, the alarm wont be able to call the police even tho it might be running on a battery due to the power cut. So an alarm isn’t that effective in the end, right ?

How do I increase the volume of hard wired speakers into my cpu through a headphone line?

car alarm auto arming?

My car alarm has auto arming which activates 30 seconds after closing doors. It also has a dome light security feature. They are working fine.
When I turn the dome light switch in the car to "off". It does not auto arming. Is it how it supposed to work? Thanks.
