How do I disable an alarm system on my Chevy S-10?

My truck won’t start. The battery on my truck was dead, so I charged it up and my alarm went off. I forgot to push the valet button and now my truck won’t start. I have a 1991 Chevy S-10 and the alarm is a Excalibur 1600 atv (after market). The alarm system has been discontinued and the place where I bought it is out of business. Please help!

Try to find a button inside the truck known as the "secondary disarm". It is usually located in the driver’s side kick panel or under the dash on the driver’s side.
After you reconnect the battery, turn on your ignition, then press this button. The alarm should turn off.
Or, you can try unplugging the brain of the alarm.

try charging the battery ALL THE WAY UP. and then dis-connect it for five minutes or so and then try starting again. if it doesn’t work you’ll have to tow it to a window tinting burgleralarm shop and have them disconnect it.
