Yup, it is legal! Many employers use remote access cameras, or Web Cams, to monitor employees.
Are there cameras in the bathrooms or dressing rooms?
it kinda depends…i dont think its wrong for an employer to watch over his employees from home as long as the employees are at work and i think if the cameras arnt in a place invading their privacy, restrooms, etc. if the employees are watching from home thats basically invasion of privacy…and illegal ofcourse. an employer may watch employees at work for safery/theft reasons…
i doubt it. lots of places use security cameras. probably more than you know!
Yes they can. we are now coming to realize the "Big Brother" symptoms that George Orwell warned about forty years ago… I don’t like it, but it is a fact of life. Look at it this way, always assume that there is a camera lens out there somewhere . Keeps you out of trouble. With "Hommeland Security" in control; the technologies we enjoy today will come back to bite us in the ass!
Get used to it. Lets just be glad that; they are not networked to our home computers…….. Or are they?
