Question about Medical Alert Bracelets?
Recently we found out that I’m allergic to penicilin. However it wasnt written in my records or anything, I was at the hospital last week getting medicine for my ear ache so they gave me amoxicilin [if i spelt it right] and I went into anaphylectic shock. Anyways, my grandma is telling me to get a medical alert bracelet
Is that something i get myself, or will my doctor have to get one more me
thanks!

Look the name up on line, they provide an information form that you fill out. You pay on line then they send you a bracelet or necklace.
you can purchase them at your local pharmacy or you can dl a order form on the internet, which is the better option I myself am allergic to all antibiotics (yes all) and i ordered one they placed my name on it, address etc and of course my allergies. I now wear it on my ankle as a couple of months ago i decided me health was important to me so i got a look alike bracelet tattooed on my wrist now i don’t have to worry about it falling of and i know i will always be safe because you cant remove it
