do they offer monitoring? is there anybody who will monitor their stuff? I see that they sell good security system parts, that’s why i’m asking. i heard somewhere that ADT charges 9 for a monitored smoke alarm, so screw that, I want to build my own security/fire system and have it MONITORED

I was wondering if there’s a company that, for a monthly fee, will let me set a phone dialer(these can be added to honeywell stuff) to call them and then they call 911 and report it

I am shopping around for a good home security system that isn’t super expensive and works wirelessly as we do not have a landline. So far, all of the reviews I have read for the top two companies (ADT and Protect America) sound like horror stories of fraud and faulty equipment. I just don’t want to get ripped off!

I currently have a basic security system with ADT. I am looking into getting video surveillance added on. Does anybody have this video surveillance package? If so, can you give me a short breakdown of how it works and I definitely am curious on the pricing of it. I just wanted to get a camera in back and in front of my place, nothing inside. A few years back, I ran with some very bad company. I have had empty threats made upon me and I am just worried. The basic system isn’t something that makes me feel very safe. I already am in the process of getting my foid card and such…I really want information on video security costs. ADT doesn’t place prices on their site…I would even be up to switching security providers if another company has a better security system. I appreciate your help in advance. Thanks!

I have a second job interview coming up with ADT as an emergency dispatch operator, and I feel hopeful enough about the job to ask if anyone here knows if ADT is good about granting unpaid time off? I’ve got a vacation tentatively scheduled for the week after my training class would end, which i’m thinking might be pretty early, but i’d really like to be able to go on this vacation as planned. any insight anyone has would be great!

I cannot currently afford a home security system, is there anywhere to obtain the ‘ADT’ sign for my yard without actually getting the system, so that it looks like on the outside that I do in fact have an alarm system?

My ADT system was installed today and I love the chime feature that sounds any time a door opens BUT it sounds like my house is the corner liquor store/gas station. I HATE IT.
I want to change the chime from the dee-doo to something else.

i turned off and unplugged my adt service but my alarms still beep saying the batteries are low but i just changed them
it has no life the adt panel, i already reset the alarms, found out they rnt connected to that just to the main one in the hall way.

Hey guys, I’m looking for a video surveillance system that would enable me to stream live video over the internet remotely on a computer. I have seen logitech having some offerings and some by ADT that would allow me to monitor my home with a cell phone application along with a subscription which I do not want. Logitech also has a free service but I do not think it would fit my needs. I do not care for smartphone applications and streaming and would very much prefer one that would enable me to watch my home from any computer.

The ademco brand glass break sensor beeps about every 30 sec. I put on a new battery, but it keeps on going. The beep is coming from the sensor itself not the control panel. The adt system is not curently monitored so I can’t call aft.

Pls help.
