I really like these simple sort of comfortable looking alarm clocks.

So I’m in a really bad mood and don’t feel like answering my texts. I was just going to turn off my phone but I use it as an alarm clock so I need it on. Is there anyway I can have my alarm sound on but my message alert set to silent?

Thanks

I have little to no money for an invention I thought of. It is a novelty alarm clock. Anybody know where I can start looking for help?
Serious answers only please.

I’ve always wondered and my mother had this trait too, where I don’t need an alarm clock to wake up at a specific time. For example, I need to get to work by 8AM I would usually set my alarm to 6:30 and for some reason I always wake up around or before that time without my alarm going off. Why is that? Does it stem from conditioning or habits, or do we have some form of internal clock?

Can I wire in a component to an alarm clock?

I would like to add a 9v accessory to my alarm clock. How would I go about wiring to the alarm clock’s power supply? Will the power from the clock short out the accessory?
I was hoping to use it as a power supply. I don’t have the room to plug it in directly to the wall due to there being no outlets left. I have the stuff to do it, I just want to know how.

I know there are various websites that have alarm setting with preset noises. Is there a way I can wake up to a certain song I want with purchasing an alarm clock? Even using my computer?
Is there a way I can set my computer’s sound to turn on at a certain time and just have a playlist playing?

Is this a good book to be published?

I dont mind Critisism..lol…btw im 12 and im the "star writer" lol in my class. here.
Alicia Adams’ white stretched limo pulled up against the polished brick driveway of her Malibu home as she pulled out her iPhone from her Coach purse. “Yeah hello? Yeah whatever. Whatever! Buh-bye!” Alicia Adams threw her phone into the appropriate pocket in her purse, and flipped her brunette hair away from her face. Alicia was the richest 15 year old in Malibu and she was definite it would stay that way.
Just as Alicia had put away her phone, it rung constantly like an alarm clock buzzing off. “Hey hey!” Alicia spoke into the phone as a news reporter would speak into the microphone.
“Hey!” Alicia’s friend Madelyn responded with enthusiasm. “Guess what Alicia?”
Alicia predicted this going to be good, for Madelyn only used that certain “I have so much to tell you” voice in the right situation.
“Madelyn! Cool it! Just say it!” Alicia exclaimed as she examined the loud breathing of her best friend over the phone.
“Some girl from New Jersey is going to live with you!” Madelyn explained.
Alicia paused at the hideous words coming out of her best friend’s mouth.
“Shut up Madelyn!” She replied with a joking look on her face. “If some girl from New Jersey came to live with me, don’t you think I would know about it?” Alicia said, trying to prove a point.
“Maybe if you were listening to your parents the other day when I came over your house, you would have known about this! Remember, they told you the “big news” yesterday and you just kept on going off filing your nails?”
“Uh..I don’t know what you’re talking about, Madelyn!” Alicia explained with great confidence, and hung up on her best friend.
Alicia was so lost in her conversation she barely realized she was still outside standing on her polished driveway. She flipped open her rhinestone studded mirror and took a look at herself in her mirror. “Oh Alicia. Why does some girl from New Jersey have to live with me?” she thought to herself. She walked her way into her red carpeted house and plopped her Juicy Couture blazer onto her leather zebra patterned couch. For Alicia, there was no such thing as letting random families into her family’s house. Alicia’s mom Kendra walked into the living room and grabbed a cup of coffee from their coffee machine in the corner. They never really used it except for special occasions, when the family needed a way to calm down.
“Alicia, I know you already knew this but your dad’s client and his daughter and wife are going to live with us for a few months until they can find the perfect place to say. Okay honey?” Kendra said, flipping her diamond rings back and forth on her finger, waiting for her daughter’s response.
“Yeah mom! I know. Why are you letting some family live with us? Can’t they afford their own house? Are they poor?” Alicia asked. Alicia said “poor” the same way her mom said “last years out Burberry sweater”.
“No sweety! She just isn’t rich! Her family’s old home was burned by a fire scare in their house and they needed a place to stay. The father is one of your dad’s clients and well..we offered!” Kendra stated.
“Mom? This is going to be a hardship for me! How can I live with some poor girl from New Jersey?” Alicia asked.
For a few minutes there was an awkward silence until Alicia’s iPhone started ringing. “Hello? Hi Amie! Whats up?” Alicia spoke with a smile on her face, showing her happiness of speaking with her other best friend, Amie.
“Hey hey Alicia!” Amie said.
“Oh my gosh Amie! I have BIG news!”
“Spill!”
“This girl and her family are going to live with me! And they are..”
Alicia looked back to see if Kendra was in sight.
“Poor!”
“Don’t worry! You can shop to feel better!” Amie said.
They both laughed and giggled.
“No Amie! You don’t worry. I got it covered.”
They both hung up and Alicia inspected her coach purse and searched for some lip gloss. She took a deep breath as she pet her dog Evanna’s head. “Evanna, sometimes its hard being rich..” Alicia thought about what she had just said and laughed her loudest. Evanna barked in agreement.

Chapter 2
Alicia Adams flicked the tiny cell phone charm that dangled from her charm bracelet. The clicks and the pings were the only sounds in the room. Alicia stared at her mother across from her room as she observed the noises coming from her bracelet. Now, Alicia could have broke the silence, that is, if she wanted her mother to accuse her of interrupting.
“Alicia!” Her mother, Kendra, exclaimed with her diamond-ring-covered fingers in the pockets of her Versace dress. “Stop that ridiculous noise and listen to me!” Kendra scolded.
Alicia rolled her eyes and kicked her legs up on her queen sized bed, making her Jimmy Choo shoes fly on to her gold carpet.
Kendra took a deep breath and moved her arms in a position that Alicia had seen before in one of those cheesy yoga videos. “I want you listen to me. Warren, dad’s client, is coming h
