I live in Arizona and if I am correct, I have the right to protect my property with any means necessary within my household against an intruder…Yes? However, I am uncertain about the laws surrounding shots fired at burglers outside my home but ON my land (ie,. attempts to enter through a window or doorway). Recently I have experienced TWO attempts at breaking into my home within the past month (It is secured by an alarm system)… I have since purchased a firearm for additional protection. What should I know about the laws in Arizona regarding this matter?? Thanks for any help you can provide!

So me and my husband just moved into a house with an old adt system. It is not actived, and will be eventually. But for now, it beeps every 30 seconds. It is extremely annoying. The previous homeowner never left us the codes for it so we have no idea how to turn it off, and we are afraid to mess with it in case it triggers the alarm. I have never had an alarm system, and I just want the beeping to stop.. any suggestions?

So i bought the car a few weeks ago. 94 Tercel Toyota. Everything is stock. But i wanna get a stereo system with a sub-woofer and an amp but i dont know it i should get a alarm system. If i do i wanna get a basic one. I know a place in downtown where they have a basic system for 70bucks and i think with 20bucks of labor.
Would it be worth getting it?

I’m thinking about moving soon & worried for my safety. Do rental companies normally allow a tenant to install an alarm system if one is not already installed? What has been your experience?

Hi,

I’ve just moved into a new house and do not have the alarm code for the Infinite Prime Alarm System that is installed there.
I cannot contact the original homeowner as he passed away and the company who they had a monitoring service contact with does not know the code either.

Is there a way I can perform a reset to wipe the code and reset it the default codes?

Well, normally during the summer, I would be awake two hours from now, but this morning, instead of waking up to the music that was playing from my computer, I woke up to a blaring alarm, while my dog was having a howling fest downstairs. At first, I thought it was my alarm system getting set off by an intruder, but after searching the house, there was no one, and the alarm system was off to begin with. I figured it MUST be the smoke detectors going off, but there was no smoke or fire. Also, neither Honeywell (our security system company), nor the fire department dispatch have called the house. What is going on?

i have an alarm system in my house..motion sensor and some window sensors.. i can get past the motion sensor..and i know which windows dont have the sensor on them….for those windows, can i leave it cracked open before the alarm is turned on then open it all the way after? or will it set the alarm off…
