Basically, my girlfriend and her friend are sharing a house together, and even though its a nice area I’d like them both to have a motion sensor door alarms but I cant seem to find any? I just want something she can put next to her door, and if someone opens in the night, it would break the sensor and an alarm would go off? I live in the UK by the way. Thanks in advance!

I just got the home security systems which I ordered from HSST. I was a bit scared making the order, but surprisingly the orders were processed quickly, and they arrived on time.
This was my first deal with them after receiving some review about them. I actually ordered one complete home security systems involving surveillance systems, motion detector and alarms. I would definately recommend this store. The price is competitive, but slightly lower that most. I found many items cheaper than other competing sites.

Okay so I already have an alarm, but is it possible to add a remote starter or will I have to get a starter/alarm combo? I really don’t want to get rid of the alarm that I have, but it’s getting really cold in the mornings. I think the alarm has inputs if that means anything. Please give me any information that might educate me in any way about alarms and remote starters together.

1.When you have a brinks alarm system, are they the only company that can monitor the alarms?
2. Can the alarm be reprogrammed to call your cell phone and/or 911 if the alarm does go off?
I would be happy if it just rang my cell phone.

I need an in-ground pool alarm that will activate if my 6 and 12 pound dogs or 9 pound cat fall into the pool. All of the alarms I have seen only activate if something over 15 pounds falls in. Can anyone help?

Since last night, my CO detector has been alarming. It is a plug in model (no batteries) that has been in my home for 2 years without making a peep up until now. Everything is electric, except my heat. Which has not been on since March. I feel fine, my dog seems to be OK. I would call the Fire Dept. but I dont want to make a big scene in my quiet neighborhood. I do smoke, but have so for as long as the detector has been in my home with no prior alarms. Doesn’t there have to be some kind of combustion or partial combustion for CO to be present?

I recently took my boat out after storage of about 4 months. I immediately noticed that the oil gauge showed yellow (add oil) although I had a full reservoir. Also after running at a crawl through a no wake zone on the way home the overheat buzzer came on. I shut off and started after the buzzer stopped and it happened 3 more times on the 2 mile trip to dock. I had no alarms at high speed. I have removed the oil tank to check out the sensor which I think is bad. I am hoping that both problems are related to the oil sensor. I was told that the oil pump shuts down after running with the yellow oil light on which in turn would overheat the engine. I can’t figure it out, please help.

Hi
My daughter is going to full day K in September. My s-i-l just reminded me to warn her about fire drills. She has a noise sensitivity, and she’s heard the alarms at home before, but I think they’re louder and a little different at school. Does anyone know of a website or youtube thing where I can have her listen to a school fire alarm so she can be prepared? I’m going to tell her teacher too, but she’s really going to lose it when the have a drill. I thought preparing her over the summer would help.
When she was younger even a loud sneeze would send her into hysterics. Whenever we were outside and a car drove by she would run to the nearest adult in a panic. Now it’s pretty much really loud motorcycles, thunder, and loud unexpected alarms that bother her. Even at the movies she wears ear muffs to help with the sound
So, it is an honest problem..
Thanks!

Has anyone done this or konw this company? I would like to know the facts to see if it is possible and likely. What are good tips and all that. Just basically what do I need to know about it. and is it all real?
