ok its 1 in the moring were i live, and i want to sneak out of the house and go see my gf, she lives like up the block. the thing is we have a brinks security system, and it beeps everytime you open the door. does anyone know how to disarm the beeping noise and how to arm it back.

i know how to turn the alarm off but it will still beep when you go outside, so who knows how to turn the beeping noise off and turn it back on.

please help!

I know that smoke alarms will chirp once every minute when the batteries need to be changed. The problem: it is my neighbor (who appears to be away for the summer) who has the dying batteries. For the past three days, his alarm has been beeping once every minute. These hot summer nights, his window is open and so is ours. How long will the !@#$% beep before it runs out of enough juice to beep like this?

Our upstairs smoke alarm started beeping a couple of weeks ago. Just a quick beep, every few minutes continuously. This alarm is connected to the mains electric as well as using a battery.

My husband replaced the battery as soon as he got a chance. However, it’s still beeping! What do we have to do to stop the noise?!

We bought a new battery, so it should definately be charged.

my house’s alarm system has a thing so that even when the alarm isn’t set, a little beep noie goes off whenever you open a door or window….what an i do to my door so that just that door wont set off the beep?

When we moved into the new house it came with a DSC PC1550 home alarm system. We had asked the previous owner to disable it for us permanently but he didn’t know how to either. The problem is it gets very hot in the summer and every time i open one of the windows the alarm starts beeping , about 1-2 seconds of beep every 5-10 minutes. I dont know what the master code is but i did find a grey box in the basement of my house that reads "DSC" on it. It would be GREATLY appreciated if anyone can tell us how to permanently disable this alarm so we dont have to wake up at 2-3am every morning to button mash the keypad to make it stop. Thank you!!!

My daughter is a very light sleeper and she wakes up for everything.

I got a stainless steel watch with no instructions. It beeps every hour, and the alarm goes off at a certain time every day. How do I turn off the beep and the alarm? There are only four buttons on my watch: light (top left), start (top right), mode (bottom left), and reset (bottom right). I don’t want to destroy the watch. Thanks!
There is a speaker symbol shown on the top of the screen. I tried pressing the reset and the start button but the symbol won’t go away.

I have tested the fire/smoke alarms and CO detectors and neither of them sound anything like this alarm. It only goes off about once or twice a week and at complete random times but always seems to be from 11pm to 6am. Never seems to be while I am awake. The alarm only lasts for about 4 seconds so I can’t figure out what alarm it is. It is extremely loud so I know it is not just some random noise from a device like stereo, computer, toy, etc.

I do not have a security system or sump pump alarm and I can’t think of what else it could be.

Any ideas of how to track what it is or other things that it may be and please remember this is as loud as a fire or CO monitor alarm but sounds extremely different and lasts only 3-4 seconds.
I have heard the fire alarm and CO detectors for low battery and that is usually a beep or chirp and does it every minute. There is also usually a red light that blinks each minute as well. This sound is absolutely not a low battery warning. We have owned the house for 6 years and this only started to happen about 2 months ago so asking the previous owners would not be an option. It is also not a phone as it is much too loud. I do like the idea of voice activated recording and may have to try that.

Im not sure weather its the burglar alarm or the smoke detector. It make a loud high pitched beep every 45 seconds or so. It is driving me absolutely crazy. I’ve reset the alarm system, looked at the manual and didnt find anything helpful. I have a dsc system. Please help me I cannot get to sleep.
there is no light on either indicating a low battery. and we completely unplugged the alarm system and it will not quit.
