I checked the batteries in the thermostat and they’re still good. My furnace’s pilot light is on, it’s turned on and the fuse is not blown. The breaker is not tripped. Incidentally, yesterday Comcast installed digital phone and they were doing something with my ADT alarm box, which is close to the furnace, though I don’t know if it’s on the same breaker. I have to wonder if something they did caused the issue. Any ideas on what else I can do/check?
The fan doesn’t come on, but I don’t know how to check the transformer. Do you mean the transformer on the thermostat? Would replacing the thermostat likely fix the issue? The thermostat is around 26 years old.
Thanks for the attempts to answer, but it turned out the safety switch on the furnace had broken off this weekend. I had to reassemble the switch and duct tape it in so that it wouldn’t fall out again.

My upstairs alarm panel is showing a Fire Code in Zone 1. My Honeywell Zone Panel on the heater downstairs is powered down. As a result only the pilot light is on, the air handler is blowing, but the furnace will not come on. How do I reset the system so I can get some heat

a simple gas heat furnace that was only using a black and a white wire to the old thermostat. This does not match anything, maybe white, but what about black?
Red wire, black wire are actually the two coming from the wall, disregard the white.

The t-stat comes with EIT module. that wires to the t-stat and the furnace. I’m having trouble with the module to furnace wiring.

So, our furnace is acting weird, for the first time ever it is unable to get the heat up to 68. The control panel is displaying an "FR" that I have never seen before. What does that mean? We do not have possession of the owners manual.

I just bought a carbon monoxide alarm. I live in a single wide mobile home that was made in the 70s. The stove and furnace are both gas. The stove is fairly new but the furnace is older. I figured I should get a carbon monoxide alarm because of the natural gas. How many people actually use them? Was it even necessary? Or did I just spend 25 bucks for nothing?

And now all it does is blink on and off. How can it stop it from blinking. I called my company BGE and they said to have a HV AC guy look at my furnace because its getting mixed signals from it (NO). I called honeywell and they told me that I didn’t have 24V electricity going to it. What is the real issue? Is it a simple fix something I can do to stop it from continually flashing? Something as simple as a battery? Please help thanks.
