Hey all,
i bought my xbox the first day they came out and iv loved it. Recently i decided that i would like a wireless remote for it, so i went to gamestop and bought one. to my dismay, it doesnt work. i tried everything stated in the instruction manual (new batteries, ect.) but it still wouldn’t sync with my xbox. So i packed up my xbox and the remote and went back to gamestop. at gamestop they were able to figure out it wasnt the remote that was malfunctioning, but the xbox. they assumed if i was able to sync the remote once, then it should work on my xbox fine. we tried using a newer wireless remote, and that charging device that you plug you wireless remote directly to the xbox but that didnt seem to do anything. So my question is, does anyone know how to Sync my double a powered wireless xbox remote to my xbox that doesn’t want to sync.
P.S. my xbox isn’t really broken, it still plays games and everything it just wont sync.
I Would Like to Play games On My Computer but I havent Got Money to buy A joystick for my computer i would like to know if there is a way to connect a wireless remote to the computer without a microsoft wireless adapter or is there a way i can use the plug n play to connect it
This is a preview of a Catching Fire I wrote through Rue’s eyes where she had won:
I open my eyes to a doctor poking and prodding my body. He inserts a needle into my flesh tainted a permanent lethal red. The color doesn’t dim by any means in the excruciatingly hot concentrated light that beams down on me. I immediately scrunch my eyes together as hard as I can so as to prevent the light from further blinding me.
He examines my wound, one I faintly recall getting from my precarious poise on the trees thinnest limbs. I hadn’t plummeted to the ground because I was lucky enough to catch myself on one of the lower branches still disguising me from being captured as I should have been. I pause a long while, staring into oblivion trying to recollect the rest of the memory.
I keep wondering how I’ve so easily adjusted to the idea of being victor of the 74th Hunger Games. You would’ve thought the idea would seem alien to a diminutive12 year old, but I just repeat the thought in my mind assuring myself I am alive. That I will never have to face that gruesome death I had been awaiting in the arena, and face it with dignity too.
Unfortunately or maybe, fortunately the doctor notices my consciousness. I already favor him of all the Capitol people right off the bat because the only thing he mutters is, “Lay your head back down till I’m finished.” I hadn’t realized it, but I had straightened myself up when I began to remember, which led him to meet my glassy gaze. It isn’t something I can help, but I am still partially fazed. So I wait a while longer, num from medication and leave when I am dismissed.
I’m directed to a room I couldn’t possibly not recognize. I lay down on the bed 12 floors up the training building. As I’m lying down I begin to think of all that awaits me soon and I so badly yearn to go home. I wonder how my brothers and sisters will look upon my return. Certainly my parents will be filled with relief, faces fresh with tears and wide grins with the news I‘ve lived the unthinkable. They would’ve questioned it. How a tiny twelve year could have returned and outlasted 22 teens in a fight to the death. Of course they won’t question it though because I had done but one major thing people can account my victory for; I made allies.
Of course I would have never imagined teaming up alongside Thresh. He held that silent lethal power that frightened me, and his solemness made me feel immensely uncomfortable. However, I respect him all the same and I’m of course gracious for him keeping me alive. But that doesn’t mean I have to particularly like him, right. We were pitted against each other as enemies after all. I feel a bit guilty even wanting to dislike him, but I realize that no matter how guilty I may feel, there is no way to deny I’ll never quite admire him as much as Katniss. She was everything I longed to be. Brave, strong, and an actual contender. And even though I followed her with admiration, I still detested her for being such a worthy adversary.
But that all changed. She became a friend. No not a friend, something more. A guardian, like a sister. The thought of this brings me to feel the warmth of lying in her sleeping bag to wash over me. And as it fades and I begin to remember her cruel fatal end and the alarm in her eyes as she pleaded to me to flee. I begin to shudder. The careers had failed to notice me in their fun, and I still have nightmares of them circling round my loved ones laugh as they take them and bring forth their slow, excruciating demise. Of course Katniss is featured in the dream. And when I awake I can say nothing more than that my dream had turned a reality. I’ve begun to shut my eyes playing these dreadful scenes out, unable to open them. But a rapping on my door brings me back to the present and I stare straight ahead as it creaks open.
I’m gonna put more up on fanfiction.net and name it Catching Flight. What do you think?
Sorry, but I’m team Peeta all the way!
Haha, and I did read the last book, but thanks for wrning everyone! Plus I said that Rue won with the help of allies. Also truth be told, if she hadn’t done the plan with Katniss or if they had caught Katniss first (like I’m gonna make it in my story) and then teamed up with Thresh, she could have survived!
my xbox 360 was stolen from my house along with my 3 controllers and my 2 games. i have insurance on my credit card i bought it with that will erase the debit from the card if somthing is stolen, and also my mom is claiming it on her homowners insurance… all total wed get about 400 dollars because of our 250 deductible. is it legal to clam the loss on the insurance and get the debt wiped off of the card?
this is the first claim on the insurance in the 17 years my mom has owned the house.
( this question is for wii)i know that the nunchuk isn’t wireless but when do i use each controller? is it best to have two wireless remote controllers or to have one nunchuk and one wireless remote controller? does it depend on the type of games i play, if so, what type of games would go best with the different controllers?
I have a psp go i want to connect it to my wireless internet to download games, but my wireless internet security is not supported
what can i do?
I have Norton and Windows Defender for my Vista home premium pc.
Wow, that was fast! I really didn’t expect answers this quickly! Thanks. Guess I won’t download it then! lol… Also thanks for clarifying the reasons I shouldn’t.
Just to remind you all… I DO have norton, I haven’t noticed it slowing down my pc at all, except when I want to install some games, then I have to turn it off… and my pc is FAAAST!
Thanks!
Most of you have given such great answers! Thank you so much for your help. It’s about 50/50 between Norton and Avast! What to do, what to do! lol… I see I can’t have more than one going at a time tho and that was the question in the first place. Thank you so much! I’ll download and save it to cd til I’m ready for it… Since I bought Norton, I may as well let the time run out! lol… THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!
