My Ademco home alarm system has previous been set to call Cincinnati Bell in the case of a disturbance or fire in the household. I have gotten rid of Cincinnati Bell’s services however, and I was wondering how I could reprogram the system to call my cell phone instead.

I am trying to find a home alarm system with the following features: wireless and hardwired sensor capability (though I’ll take wireless only), and IP connectivity with Web-based access. I’d like to do all my monitoring via IP – emails primarily and most of my access via web interface. if it had a wall mounted main panel and keyfobs as well it’d be outstanding. I’d think this would be widely available in this day and age, but I can’t find anything!

How to Remove a Home Alarm System?
Hi community, I bought a home that had an home security alarm opened permit with the county. I contacted them , and what I need to do in order to have that permit closed is to get a cancellation permit form filled out . However, in that form it asks if the alarm was removed? but the alarm still is in the house. How do I remove it ? I faxed the completed form to the building / electrical department at the county and they replied that everything must be removed prior to inspection. How do I do that in order to pass the inspection. There has to be someone that has done this before. Can you tell how to do it? Thanks so much.

I have a friend who has a home alarm system. When they punch in the code to turn it off, it makes loud beeps. This annoys them so very much, they wanted me to ask it on here. Is there some type of remote, or a setting that has the system not make loud beeps? If there is any product to buy, please put a link or website. Thank You!(:

I have a Gemini home alarm system with no service from the alarm company currently . It starts beeping once a week and then increasingly beep more frequently as of late. Now it beeps and the alarm goes off in the middle of the night. Last night, it goes of 3 times in an hour. I have disconnected the wires to the battery terminals and the phone jack in the power box. I am not sure what else I have to do?

Hello I wasn’t able to find any info anywhere so hopefully someone can help me out here. My question is my home alarm system went off while I was away, an police came down to check and left a note as mechanical error. No I didn’t answer my phone cause I was out and didn’t notice until I got home. Anywho my question is does the pd myself, the home own for their trip to heck on my house??? My home is ok and the officer left a note. I checked with ADTand they say their not sure but they do not charge for errors. I have already called the pd but I guess the alarm dept is close. I have a feeling that they will but I wAnted to see if they would in gneneral. I know false alarms are common in certain cities and states. Please any info is appreciated. I’m in Cali. Thank u!!

I am looking to find a old a manual to a Caddx home alarm system. Mainly because at my mom’s house one of her drunk friends pushed the wrong buttons and now it beeps when doors open and she doesn’t like it that. How do you turn it off?

Do you have a home alarm system and do you think it’s worth the money? We live in a good area more importantly there is always someone at home next door or across the road. We just had the system installed all doors have sensors not the windows though. Just want to know your thoughts. Thanks
