I have been in my home for almost two years. Last year I had a escrow shortage and this year I had an escrow shortage. I purchased flood insurance last year and they are adding that to my escrow and I never requested it to be paid by my mortgage company it was something that I added a year after I purchased the home. Our mortgage payment has increased by 0 since we bought the house. I don’t understand all this stuff and I’d rather pay my own property taxes. Is this the better thing to do?

Im purchasing a home in 2 months. Meanwhile my apartment was broken into and my second vehicle was stolen via my spare key which was hidden in my apartment. My losses for the apartment are around ,000 and my vehicle carried full coverage and is valued at ,200. 3 wks ago, I canceled my previous home owners insurance I had for 4 yrs-no claims, to another insurance company. Now, I have water damage to floors and under mobile home-broken sink pipe-I believe this could have happened when I had the first insurance policy, though. My present agent said,"if it happened while you had insurance with them-they should pay and cover it.’
Even though I have canceled that policy? Is this true, please help me.

I currently have Coventry health insurance but am planning on switching over to blue cross blue shield in the spring but i need to know if either of those providers cover breast reconstruction surgery for tuberous breasts. It is categorized as a congenial breast deformity and i know that insurance companies do cover it I’m just not sure which ones. If anyone on here knows anything about this topic please please help me out…if I can’t find coverage I’m going to need to save around six thousand dollars and that will take awhile, which will be very hard to deal with considering how much distress this problem brings me in every day life…so please if you have serious answers that can help me let me know.

Alarm salesmen go door to door telling people that if you get an alarm security system monitored, such as ADT, Brinks, ..etc. You can save money on your home owners insurance.

I bought my home new and since the start, I had problems with sink holes around my home. I fixed most of them however recently with all the extra precipitation we’ve gotten, i’ve noticed that my porch has dropped about 3 inches so the posts holding up my porch are no longer attached. My question is: Will insurance cover this since it was part due to weather and part due to maybe the soil not being compacted down around the foundation as it should have?
My house is 10 years old.
