Recently we found out that I’m allergic to penicilin. However it wasnt written in my records or anything, I was at the hospital last week getting medicine for my ear ache so they gave me amoxicilin [if i spelt it right] and I went into anaphylectic shock. Anyways, my grandma is telling me to get a medical alert bracelet
Is that something i get myself, or will my doctor have to get one more me
thanks!

I’m severely asthmatic and wear a medical alert bracelet in case anything serious happens. I’ve been talking to a guy from a dating website, we’ve talked on the phone and meeting up is in our future. He doesn’t know I’m severely asthmatic.
If you were the guy, would you be turned off if I wore my medical alert bracelet on the first date? Or should I leave it off when we meet?

Hey Everyone
My mom is a diabetic and wears a medical alert bracelet. Today she went to a luncheon and saw a woman wearing a really nice one she said she got from Laura’s Hope. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this foundation and if so, how can I go about getting one of those medical alert bracelets for my mom. I did find a website earlier for Laura’s Hope, but they didn’t mention any bracelets so that’s why I’m here.
Thanks in advance for any help I can get….
I know where to find basic medical bracelets, we have plenty of those, I’m looking for ones made by Laura’s Hope.

I can not find a decently priced diabetes medical alert bracelet for my boyfriend. He has type 1 diabetes and needs to wear it at all times. He wears the rubber ones like the link posted below. Any cheap suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

so i have pretty bad asthma and im still a runner, but i tend to get a lot of asthma attacks during my runs. i carry my emergency inhaler, but i still worry because during my high school cross country races i cant have it with me, and if something were to go wrong, identification would be a good idea. (i also do other races and am hoping to do a marathon).
so basically, do you think a medical alert bracelet would be a good idea or not? how do i order one?
thank you in advance.

My son has some serious allergies that I what put on a medical alert bracelet in case of an accident when I am not around. Unfortunately my son is only 17 months old. Does anyone know of an alternative that would be safe for my son to wear.

My boyfriend recently was diagnosed with diabetes. He is thinking about getting a medical alert bracelet or neckchain. What are we supposed to have put on it? His name? Obviously his condition…. a doctor’s name? (What if he changes doctors somewhere down the road, this necklace costs like …) Does he put a contact name and phone number? Or does it just say "diabetic?" Please let us know what’s supposed to go on it, in an emergency, we’re not sure how much information will be needed. Emts, doctors or nurses especially. Thanks a lot.
You know how animals get micro chips with their owners’ information in it, and they insert them in their necks? Do they have anything like that for people yet?
Also, ladies, men, what is more manly, a figaro chain, or a man-bracelet?

My daughter has diabetes and is wanting to purchase a medical alert bracelet but isn’t sure what all she should put on it. A lot of web sites tell you to put a lot of different information to put on it, however you can’t with only 3 or so lines available.
