I just recently installed Norton Internet security 2011. How do I block all the annoying ads/banner that is basically sucking all my bandwidth dry? Thank you in advance for you help!

How to update virus definitions and other content with Symantec Norton internet security 2011 every single hour through the LiveUpdate ? how to configure that ?
PS: My internet connection is really slow, that’s why I want to use the update periodically every hour to make sure the download content wont get large so my connection can bear the amount of the update (without disconnecting) !! I used to do that all the time before when I had Kaspersky ))

I am thinking of reseting my Acer 5536 back to it’s factory setting so that I can finally play Terraria, a game that I have been trying to fix for 3 days and have downloaded many programs. I was only wondering, when I do this, how would I save my Norton Internet Security and Microsoft Office? Both need validation keys and cost quite alot. How would I go about keeping them?

I have Norton Internet security 2011 v 81.1 which is great, but when I updated it, it is now v. 18.5 which is so stupid and uncompatible unstable and destroys the settings button meaning you cannot access the settings no more, without to many words it’s a shitty version, all I’m asking for is an update to the definitions without changing the version? anyone have any idea how to do this? I use windows 7 ultimate.

Portal 2 crashes every time I try to load a saved game. The crash occurs right after the saved game finishes loading. By searching forums I’ve seen that problem is probably with my antivirus. I’m running Norton Internet Security. How do I get it to stop screwing with my game? Or do I have the wrong idea entirely?

does anyone know what is the difference between Symantec Norton Internet Security 2011 NIS 1yr 1PC 2010 and the norton 2008 version? i used the 2008 version to update my computer, now they are coming up with the what is the Symantec Norton Internet Security 2011 NIS 1yr 1PC 2010 and i dont know the difference. can i still use it on my gateway to surf internet and do usual stuff on there.

I bought Norton internet security for my computer online. It downloaded fine. When i bought it, it said that it can protect up to3 house hold PCs. How do i get it to protect another PC in another room?

I had installed Norton Internet Security 2011 on my computer, and it had installed successfully. I shut down the computer and re-started it the following day, but it said that Norton had expired and had to be renewed, so i re-entered the product key which was successful.The same thing happened the next day. Why won’t Norton remain installed when i turn off my computer?
