I have Norton Internet Security 2010 (NIS 2010). I was wondering if you have to manually update the virus definitions for this program, or does it update it by itself. If it needs updating manually, I need catching up to do >.>

I have norton internet security and it runs fine.. but searching through my C drive I find all these random eula.txt files and a bunch of random dll files I’m not sure belong; if norton internet security isn’t catching these would it be a good idea to also install norton antivirus just to be very safe?

Every time I try to install norton my computer keeps freezing.As soon as I click on install norton internet security, it takes me to a " IBM think pad ultranav driver installation".After I install this my computer freezes. I have a IBM Thinkpad.

I have Norton Internet Security 2008 on my computer, but it expired, so I bought Norton 360 2.0. Do I uninstall my old one before putting in my new one?

I have Norton internet security and it is good but I don’t like the live update. Is there any others that are safe for my computer I tried AVG and it had viruses and I tried Panda with the same problem, and Kaspersky and it nearly broke my computer I don’t recommend for anyone. Any suggestions?

I currently have a free trial of Norton Internet Security 2009 which came with my laptop. It was cheaper to buy the CD of Norton Internet Security 2010 than to renew my trial with Norton, so that’s what I did. When I receive my new version in the mail, do I need to uninstall the 2009, and then install 2010? Or does it automatically take care of this for you? Thanks so much!
