If a burglar cut all power source to the house, can the alarm be disable ? And, if he cuts the phone line too, the alarm wont be able to call the police even tho it might be running on a battery due to the power cut. So an alarm isn’t that effective in the end, right ?

i was wondering if there are anything similar to what i am looking for?

i want to make a surveillance camera which takes shots and storing them into a sd memory card, and have it programmable to either do motion detection or something similar… along with a way of power source, either outlet or battery source.

i’m just trying to make it simple, without having to run a laptop, or pc that consumes way too much energy. suggestions?

i used a power source that was 9 volts instead of 8 like the stock one that it came with, after looking at the wrong power supply i also noticed that it had a higher amperage output as well is it fried?

Will it work if I detach the speaker wires from my alarm clock radio and solder them to the power source for a small driver for ElectroLuminescent lights? Or do I need to find a different power source? Or do I need to convert the voltage?

I built a latched alarm using a relay switch. The first one I built works fine, but after copying the circuit, the new latched alarms I built only stay on (latched) for a few seconds. I have a 40A 12V relay and a 12V 1.5A power source. Thank you for your help.

My alarm has been beeping because it needs a new battery. I just took out the battery. Will it continue to beep if the battery has been removed, or can it work from alternate power?
How can I check that its not wired up to any other power source?
Lol, and yes, I have a graduates cap on, and yes it may appear a stupid question, but one can never be too sure!
