My 15 yo 9th grader came home from school the other day, telling me the teacher had "whipped" him. When I asked why, he told me that it was because he ran to the door when the fire alarm went off. That evening the teacher phoned to say that my son was constantly "disrupting her class". When I asked her if she whipped him, she became irate, admitted that she merely "popped" him. When questioned further, she also admitted that she told him he needed to be whipped every day. Our school does have a strict corporal punishment policy. It is to be administered in the presence of a second adult, and only after all other discipline methods have failed. This was the 1st notice I’d rec’d about his behavior. Also, it is not to be carried out in the presence of other students. This teacher seriously violated the school’s own policy by hitting my son in the classroom. I’ve not gone to the school board or the principal yet for fear that my son will be retaliated against. How should I handle this?
Public school, not private
Apparently some answerers didn’t read my question details. I have spoken with the teacher. I DO know what my son *asked* when he was told he needed to be whipped everyday, and humiliated in front of the class. Asked teacher to repeat directions. Teacher admitted that to be the truth. Corporal punishment policy in our school dictates that students are not to be "whipped" in the presence of other students, and then only when all other forms of discipline have failed.
hsfromth…..My son and the teacher agree on what happened. I didn’t have to take anyone’s side, or believe my son instead of the teacher. The problem I have with the teacher is that she failed to abide by the school’s policy for corporal punishment when she struck him in the presence of other students, without due process (no prior notice to parents of student misconduct, not notifying the principal, not notifying parent in writing of whipping [I had to learn about it from my son], and the fact that it was used as a first line of punishment, which is against the school’s Corporal Punishment Policy).

Ok well i have a home network with a couple of computers and possibly adding a third

I am interested in peoples oppinions on what is the best software to use for me to remotely monitor all activity on all computers on the network

Must be good, monitor all websites, chat windows and emails sent from the pc or from an online site

Would like it to be able to take screenshots, have some form of ftp to upload some spy logs for me to review remotely

Must have a complete stealth installation and run totally hidden so that even someone fairly good with computers wouldnt notice it

And must be compatible with norton antivirus and not be detected as some form of security threat that wil alert the user to its presence

I have a brother inlaw that wil soon be using our computers and i want to keep an eye on who he chats to and sites he visits etc as well as programs he is running and control access to certain things i dont want him doing etc

Anyone got any good suggestions??
Just to add it would also be great if it had some built in features that would allow me to connect anytime from anywhere and see in real time what is going on with the pc view or even control it if needed

But it must be 100% hidden and stealth so that there is no trace or mention of it ever or he will know he is being watched and will try and remove it and stop it working

Thanks in advance
I think people are miss understanding my question

I do not require anti spyware or stuff that searches and removes spyware threats etc

I require software that remotely monitors all computers on a etwork including full pc control from any pc i am on and logs all pc activity and internet use so i cans ee what people are upto on my computers

Repeat i am NOT looking for spyware removal programs or anything of that sort

Have had some history of some transient bats coming through house. None have tested positive for rabies. Am I just overly concerned about this issue? After I heard sound I swatted near my ear did not feel anything touch me. Also I turned on bedroom lights and did not see any presence of a bat. Mainly I am just wondering if this high pitch ringing type sound similar to a fire alarm is the type of sound that could have come from any bat. Most likely the type of bat for this area in a home would be little or big brown bat. Thanks.
