A man stepped into a bank with a bag and demanded money. The teller decided to jump the counter and attack the man and then ran after him out of the store down a few blocks.

The bank dismissed him because he violated bank policy of listening to the robber’s demands, locking down the bank, and setting off the silent alarm. Bank employees are instructed not to do what this teller did.

You and your partner are responding to a silent alarm at a warehouse at about 2am. You are looking to see if their was any forced entry and you see a back door is slightly opened. Dispatcher comes on the line and says that their is a domestic violence call just came in and they heard the woman screaming before the phone hung up. The house is known for domestic violence calls in the past, what do you do?

• You are a Deputy at the local County Jail and free recreational time is over and all inmates are to return to their cells but one refuses to go to his cell. Your supervisor is not available but there is backup available. What do you do?

I left my father due to abuse, I let him know I was going to my mothers. Few days later my mother and i called him and asked if we could pick my clothes. He agreed and with my house key, I grabbed my possessions. Until the police came to the scene because of a robbery call. My father set us up, he set up a silent alarm when i was with my mother so he could be contacted from his office when we arrived in his house. We were handcuffed, my father talked to the police and accused my mother of kidnapping her parental were rights terminated when I was 2. He also had planted a bag of cocaine outside the home and said he found the bag in my room after my departure. Police dropped drug/theft charges and the sergeant confirmed abuse w/father and wrote a paper giving my mother custody.

The 2nd Report was made a day later, my father anonymously contacted Emergency Children Services and said I was kidnapped.

He made a 3rd report 2day and said I ran away from mother. All three have been closed.

I did my oral interview the other day, and one of the question was:

- You just receive three calls in the same time:
a) Silent alarm at the residence
b) A drowning of a minor
c) 11-99, Officer needs help
What would be your priority #1, #2 and #3, and why?

I said that I would respond to b first, then c, and then a. I’m not going to say why I chose that

Don’t you think there should be some kind of silent alarm clock??? like ……something. I need to wake up early but my husband likes to sleep in. Its so super difficult to wake up on time without that alarm clock ( I won’t use it cuz I don’t want to disturb him) It would be so nice if there was something out there that could wake up only me and not my husband. Don’t you agree that would be nice???

My Samsung a737 doesn’t vibrate anymore for some reason. Even if it’s on silent, not on silent, alarm, etc. It’s only a little over a month old. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? It’s getting really annoying since I have it on silent a lot and don’t know when I’m getting a call. Thanks for any help.
