I’m looking for a security camera that doesn’t need to be mounted (for a small apartment where I can’t nail or screw things in the wall). Inexpensive and small. I also would like to leave it independently running on my bookcase or something like that (with a long enough memory and either AC adaptor or battery to run for about 8 hours). Quality of video is less of a worry (so it doesn’t need to be color). Though, I’m looking for low-cost surveillance in my place. Could anyone suggest any products? Thank you!

I work in a local fast food joint and they are putting in new cameras. this in wisconsin. what are the laws on the surveillance for audio. on those cameras? can they have audio on those cameras?
can you say where i can look up the state statute? i tried to find it and couldn’t. thank you in advance.

Does anyone know of any good micro/mini (real small/easy to hide) video cameras for surveillance that will record video, to maybe a built in flash card to be later played on a computer? I’m needing something for surveillance while I’m not there, but something I can plug into my computer to check when I come back. Anyone? Thanks.

we are living in a duplex, but we have a shared backyard with separate entrances. The other day he concealed a webcamera behind the window of the bathroom facing our entrance to the backyard, where we usually spend time drinking tea, beer and just talking. A spare beach umbrella was used to close the view of the camera and the recording. On the next day, the neighbour covertly mounted a webcam already outside the house, on a bbq grill, half closed with towels. But i see there is a wire coming to the grill and a microsoft logo from between the towels. You know, i feel so embarrassed that my private life is under surveillance of a probable pervert or maniac. Can i call the cops in this case?
I have heard that if the camera is installed in his part of the house, i cannot do anything, but if it’s on a shared backyard, it should be labelled with "…under video surrveillance…"

what should i do?

I got the Black Ops prestige edition because game stop didn’t have anymore but i found one at best buy and i decided to get it so i could get the surveillance remote car and the 4 map packs. so now that means i have 2 discs of the same game because i already got the regular Edition opening night. What im wondering is will i still have everything on it if i used the new one because of the hard drive or will i have to do all the stuff over again?
im going to sell the other one on ebay, craigslist, amazon, etc for , what i paid for.
it comes with a card for the code for the DLC i think
