I just purchased a house and I only have one garage door remote for my Chamberlain whisper drive opener. Can I order another remote from the company or can i buy a universal remote and program it? How do you program a universal remote. Thanks for your help…..

I would like to temporarily fool it to think the tailgate is closed so when I am at the drive-in’s with the tailgate open the map lights are off. Where is the tailgate door sensor and is there a way to make it think its closed?

Hi community, I bought a home that had an home security alarm opened permit with the county. I contacted them , and what I need to do in order to have that permit closed is to get a cancellation permit form filled out . However, in that form it asks if the alarm was removed? but the alarm still is in the house. How do I remove it , or what do I do in order to pass the inspection and close that permit.

I am looking for this as a gift for a friend. I found a post from 2 years ago mentioning the GE model 74801, but that’s not being sold anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions for a brand name and/or store where I can buy an alarm clock like this? A model that has a CD player is preferable but this feature is not necessary. Not sure if anybody could help me, but I am just wondering what would be the best way to go about this.

We closed on our new home last Tuesday and the house has an alarm. We have not hooked up the system yet, but we need to turn it off. We tested the smoke detector last night and that triggered the alarm. It would not shut off, it kept telling us there was a fire. So, my fiance ripped the wire out of the wall temporarily in fears of disturbing our new neighbors.

We tried to deactivate the fire warning, but we don’t have the proper code. The previous owner did not leave a manual or the code in case of anything. Should we call our real estate agent so they can contact the seller’s agent to find a code? The alarm company couldn’t help us.

Thanks for your help…hopefully somebody else had this same problem and they can suggest to me what to do.

I used an ATM at the San Mateo Medical Center in San Mateo, CA, to withdraw money from my out of country checking account, and now I’m in the middle of a legal process and i need evidence that i was there that date at that time, i have my receipt, but thats not enough because the account is not from a USA bank, is there any way i can get a copy of the video surveillance?, do i need to hire an attorney to get this? thanks for your help.
ok here is the deal, i came to the USA in october 2000, i was 15 at that time, i came because my dad had terminal cancer, i was waiting in mexico to get my visa but i couldnt wait no more my dad was going to die, so i came illegally, and for the 7 years that i been in this country i have never been in trouble with the law so my record is clean, now i need evidence that i was here before decenber 21 of 2000 and the only thing that i have is an ATM receipt, because i didnt attend to school the first year i was here, so i need the video to prove that i was there, my dad passed away in may 2003.
