I realize this may seem a little neurotic, but I was wondering if there was a way to turn all keypad sounds off (in particular the beeps when entering each digit of a code and the "ding ding ding" upon successful code entry). I’m not referring to the chimes when a zone is breached, we’ve managed to turn those off. We have a baby who’s an extremely light sleeper and even these little beeps/"ding ding ding" noises wake him up…thanks in advance for the help!

Basically, my girlfriend and her friend are sharing a house together, and even though its a nice area I’d like them both to have a motion sensor door alarms but I cant seem to find any? I just want something she can put next to her door, and if someone opens in the night, it would break the sensor and an alarm would go off? I live in the UK by the way. Thanks in advance!

I would like to be able to set up a security camera in my work office, because, I am unsure what is going on in there when I am away. However, I need to be able to record but can only find a security camera for 0! I am wondering if there is a way to keep my skype camera on and leave it recording for a hour or two at a time. Is there a software or somthing like it that I could use to do this?

We have a small Honeywell space heater that I wanted to use to heat our bedroom (shared by my wife, 3 year old, and myslef) while we sleep. We are waiting to have our boiler replaced but wont be done until about a week from now.

I was concerned about fire risk and possible CO poisoning but I think that’s more an issue with propane space heaters.

My garage door sensors are "Moore-O-Matic (which they don’t make anymore) my garage door will go up fine, but it will not go down, it begins to, but then stops as if something is in the way. Nothing is in the way and there are no lights on either of the sensors, which leads me to believe they aren’t working. But I’m wondering how I can determine if it’s a wiring problem or if it’s the actual sensors that are bad.

Can anyone give me some tips for troubleshooting my issue??

Also, can they be replaced with a different brand, would I need to do anything special to do this?

I have a programable t-stat, and when the condenser shuts off on my AC, my blower shuts off, but within a second or two it turns right back on. I never had this problem w/ my old Honeywell dial t-stat… Please help, and thanks in advance.
The blower will shut off after the condenser and then (after a second) will kick right back in and stay on, and remain on until of course the next cooling cycle when the process starts over again.

I have to move back to Germany, (not with the military) due to my father-in-laws illness. Is there a way to get out of my contracts with ADT security and Direct TV without hurting my credit? Thanks in advance for all input.
