The silent alarm is going off on my Toyota Camry and I know how to fix it but I can’t seem to find the valet/override button. I know it is under the dash area somewhere but I have looked for about an hour now and haven’t been able to find it. Can anyone tell me anything more specific as to where to look?

I changed the battery in my car and now the alarm won’t shut off. I can’t start the car because of it. I already tried the valet switch, but it didn’t work. Any suggestions?

I have recently purchased a 2000 Camry and the previous owner said he disabled the alarm via a valet switch. Where is this switch and how do I reactivate it?

We have a 2004 Kia Sedona minivan, with a car alarm. If we lose the remote opener keyfob, and open the car with a spare key, the alarm goes off and won’t stop.
I heard somewhere that there is a "valet switch" somewhere that I can push to kill the alarm if this happens.
Does anyone know where that switch is, or a website I can go to and find it?

The car alarm is an aftermarket Prestige model (it has a valet switch). The valet switch didn’t stop it from sounding last time I removed the battery cable.

My truck won’t start. The battery on my truck was dead, so I charged it up and my alarm went off. I forgot to push the valet button and now my truck won’t start. I have a 1991 Chevy S-10 and the alarm is a Excalibur 1600 atv (after market). The alarm system has been discontinued and the place where I bought it is out of business. Please help!
